Multiscale and multiphysics in?uences on ?uids in unconventional reservoirs: Modeling and simulation

Unconventional reservoir resources are important to supplement energy consumption and maintain the balance of supply demand in oil gas market. However, due complex geological conditions, it is a signi?cant challenge develop unconventional reservoirs ef?ciently economically. At present, exten-sively studied, covering wide range areas, with special attention multiscale characterization pore structures fracture networks, description ?uid transport mechanisms, mathematical modeling ?ow properties, coupled analysis multiphysics ?elds. This work brie?y describes in?uences on ?uids reservoirs, simulation conducted analyze them, aim provide some theoretical basis for enhanced recovery from these geo-energy resources. The present article also aims enhance community’s knowledge other potential utilizations associated specially related environmentally-driven projects, including permanent greenhouse storage cyclic underground storage.
